Premier Inn Frankfurt City Europaviertel Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Premier Inn Frankfurt City Europaviertel, you immediately get that this is a hotel that knows what it’s doing. It’s one of those three-star places that doesn’t try to be fancy but absolutely nails the basics — and honestly, sometimes that’s exactly what you want when you’re exploring Frankfurt. The building sits right on Mainzer Landstraße, which means you’re basically in the thick of things without the chaos of the absolute city center.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s what I love about the Europaviertel area — it’s where Frankfurt is actually growing and changing, not just the touristy bits everyone talks about. You’re walking distance from the financial district (those impressive skyscrapers are right there), but you’re also close to some really good local spots that most visitors miss. The Gallusviertel neighborhood has this interesting mix of old Frankfurt charm and new development, and you can actually feel the city’s energy here. Plus, getting to the main train station or the airport is straightforward from this location.

The Room Experience

Premier Inn has this thing figured out — their rooms are clean, comfortable, and designed by people who actually travel. The room I stayed in had that signature purple and white color scheme that somehow works better than it should, and the bed was genuinely good (they call it their Hypnos bed, and I mean, it lives up to the hype). What I appreciated most was the practical stuff — decent lighting for reading, enough outlets where you need them, and a bathroom that’s compact but well thought out. It’s not going to wow you with marble countertops, but everything just works.

Breakfast & Dining

The breakfast setup here is actually pretty impressive for a three-star place. They’ve got the full spread — continental options if you want something light, but also a proper Full English if you’re planning a big day of walking around the city. The buffet style means you can take your time and fuel up properly, which I always appreciate when I’m trying to pack a lot into a day of sightseeing. There’s no on-site restaurant for dinner, but honestly, you’re in Frankfurt — step outside and you’ve got incredible food options within a few blocks.

Why Guests Love It

What really stands out is how this place seems to attract couples who know what they want from a city break. The 8.2 rating makes sense when you experience it — it’s that sweet spot where you’re getting solid value without any unpleasant surprises. The parking situation is sorted if you’re driving (which is rare for central Frankfurt hotels), and the staff genuinely seems to care about making sure you have what you need. You know what? Sometimes the best hotels are the ones that just let you focus on enjoying the city instead of worrying about where you’re staying, and this Premier Inn absolutely delivers on that front.

Reviews of Premier Inn Frankfurt City Europaviertel

  • Saugata from India – 6 April 2025 (9/10)

A short-walk from Frankfurt Main Hauptbahnhof. Check-in was smooth, comfortable sleeping though trams make a little bit of noise. Breakfast spread was quite good.

  • Sean from Netherlands – 5 April 2025 (9/10)

Had to stay for one night to meet a client for a meeting. The value was exceptional for what I paid for a central location. Very clean and comfortable room for a cheap rate.

  • Samvel from Armenia – 30 March 2025 (9/10)

What could be improved: Even though the side of the street the hotel is on is sketchy, using the opposite side to get to the tram station solves that issue. Other than that, everything was great!

  • Natalie from Germany – 15 March 2025 (8/10)

The rooms are modern and are equipped with everything needed. Location is great with a lot of food places around and close to the main railway station.

What could be improved: The room was facing the street and therefore it was petty noisy at night. Furthermore, there was mold in the shower.

  • Daniel from United Kingdom – 5 March 2025 (9/10)

    Clean and comfortable

What could be improved: Had one slight issue with the door not closing but as soon as I made reception aware it was fixed immediately!

  • Kate from United Kingdom – 22 February 2025 (9/10)

    Very clean and quiet. Super.

What could be improved: It’s very close to the station and felt a bit dodgy but in reality was fine – just be aware of that.

  • Adel from Algeria – 22 February 2025 (9/10)

  • Ernest from United Kingdom – 16 February 2025 (8/10)

My stay for one night was fine. A little slow getting checked in but nothing major. The room was modern and excellent with tea making facilities and a very comfortable bed and good shower and tv. The breakfast was excellent with hot and cold options. I would stay again, good value for money in the centre of Frankfurt.

What could be improved: all was good .

  • Ben from Australia – 16 February 2025 (8/10)

Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful. All you can eat breakfast is very good and worth getting, the lady who looked after the breakfast did an amazing job.

What could be improved: Not the nicest part of Frankfurt, surrounding buildings are run down / derelict so the views are not good and the streets are a mess with litter and loiterers. These are outside the hotels control but it does detract a little from the stay.

  • Pasi from Finland – 6 February 2025 (9/10)

    Good location.
    Friendly staff.
    Fast WiFi.
