The building itself has that solid German architecture feel, nothing flashy, but you know it’s built to last. I mean, when you’re staying in Westend, you’re already in one of the city’s premium areas, so the understated approach actually fits perfectly.

Here’s what I love about this location — you’re genuinely in the heart of where locals want to live, not just where tourists end up. Westend sits between the financial district and the university area, which means you get this interesting mix of business professionals and students wandering around. The tree-lined streets here are perfect for morning walks, and you’re close enough to the banking towers that you can walk to work if that’s why you’re in town. Plus, couples seem to really get this neighborhood — there’s something romantic about those quiet evening strolls past the elegant buildings.

The Space Itself

The room setup here is what you’d expect from a well-maintained three-star property, but with that apartment-style layout that gives you more breathing space than a standard hotel. You’ll find everything you need without any unnecessary frills — which, honestly, is refreshing when you just want a comfortable base in the city. The kitchen area is particularly useful if you’re staying for more than a couple nights, and I’ve found that having that option to prepare simple meals really changes how you experience a place. The whole setup feels more like borrowing a friend’s place than checking into a hotel.

Getting Around

What really sold me on this spot was how easy it is to get anywhere in Frankfurt from here. The public transport connections are solid — you can reach the Hauptbahnhof in about 15 minutes, and the airport isn’t a major expedition either. If you’re here for business in the financial district, you’re looking at a pleasant walk or a very short tram ride. The neighborhood also has that perfect balance where you can find a decent restaurant for dinner without having to trek across the city, but you’re not overwhelmed with tourist crowds either.

The 8.1 location rating really tells the story here — people discover that Westend gives them the best of Frankfurt without the chaos of staying right in the center. You get that residential feel while still being incredibly well-connected to everything that matters.   There was no wifi which was a big inconvenience, the internet user specified in the apartment was incorrect, wifi was turned on the evening before departure. How many times we wrote to the owner, he did not answer us, then he wrote to us on the third day, which was already in the room, the wifi password
  
  What could be improved: Also, the hair dryer was burnt and did not work, which was uncomfortable in this cold, we could not dry our hair. Also, the owner of the house was almost an hour late for check-in, when booking it was written that we wanted to check-in at 2 o'clock, we wrote that we wanted to check-in at 1 o'clock, the answer was no because they had to clean up after the previous check-in. When we arrived at 2 o'clock and contacted them, they told us that they had not specified that we would arrive at 2 o'clock and that they would wait outside on the street until 3 o'clock because they would be 1 hour late.

  Good deal, value for money, walking distance from westend metro station.
  
  What could be improved: The owner is not responsive enough. Phone calls will always go to voice mail and whatsapp messages are not reverted promptly. Once you pay and enter the property, you are on your own without any support from the owner.
  
  Had to pay 32 euros city tax in cash for which even after requesting multiple times, I haven't received any receipt.
  
  The gas burner was not working. Nor it had any instructions on how to operate.
  
  During our entire stay, internet/wifi only worked for 3-4 hours and then had an outage. Even after raising the complaint it was not resolved until the time we checked out.
  
  Bathroom doors do not have locks from inside. Also the door lock of one of the bedrooms was so loose that it came apart while opening it.

  Spacious and luminous apartment. Very clean. Large bathroom. Comfortable beds. Very quiet apartment and neighbourhood. Kind and responsive hosts.
  
  What could be improved: Delivery of keys was late. Furniture is very minimalistic – only one tiny table for the four of us, we had to take turns. And the apartment has seven beds, wonder how larger groups can manage!

  We had a wonderful stay in an upscale and tranquil Frankfurt neighborhood, conveniently close to the city center. We highly recommend this place. The accommodation features two spacious bedrooms with cozy double beds, a spacious bathroom, a separate toilet, and a well-equipped kitchen for cooking or brewing a cup of coffee. The cleanliness of the place was exceptional, and they even provide a crib for those traveling with little ones, like us!
  
  What could be improved: – Check-out was at 10 am, which is slightly earlier than the standard 11-12 am check-out times.
  – The relatively spacious hallway could benefit from the addition of couche and/or armchair, creating a comfortable living room area.
