Le Méridien Frankfurt Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Le Méridien Frankfurt, you immediately sense this isn’t your typical business hotel — even though it’s technically in the Bahnhofsviertel district near the main station. The lobby has this sleek, contemporary vibe that feels more like a boutique property than a chain hotel. I mean, yes, it’s a five-star place, but there’s something refreshingly understated about how they handle luxury here. The staff actually remembers your name after the first day, which honestly surprised me given how busy this place gets.
Prime Location Benefits
Here’s what I love about staying in Frankfurt at this spot — you’re literally minutes from everything that matters. The Wiesenhuettenplatz location puts you close enough to walk to the financial district, but far enough from the tourist crowds around Römerberg. Couples seem to get this location particularly well (I’ve noticed quite a few romantic getaways here), and there’s good reason for that. You can stroll to some excellent restaurant in the evening, and the parking situation is actually sorted — they have private spots, which is honestly a godsend in this city.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was on the seventh floor, and you know what struck me most? The bed was genuinely one of the most comfortable I’ve encountered in years of business travel. I’m talking about that perfect balance where you sink in just enough without feeling like you’re drowning in softness. The design leans modern without being cold — lots of clean lines, but they’ve added warm wood accents that make the space feel lived-in rather than sterile. The bathroom setup is smart too, with a rainfall shower that actually has proper water pressure.
Dining and Amenities
Breakfast here is where they really show off — the buffet spreads across this gorgeous space with floor-to-ceiling windows. They’ve got everything from traditional German options to American classics, plus they’re surprisingly good with dietary restrictions (vegetarian and gluten-free options that don’t feel like afterthoughts). The restaurant downstairs serves dinner that’s actually worth staying in for, which isn’t something I say often about hotel dining. I’ve noticed quite a few repeat guests here, and after spending a few days, I totally understand why people come back.
Why Guests Love It
What sets this place apart is how they’ve managed to create a luxury experience without the stuffiness that often comes with five-star properties. The location score speaks for itself — you’re in Frankfurt’s best-rated area, but it feels like a discovery rather than an obvious choice. Whether you’re here for business meetings in the financial district or exploring the city’s cultural side, you’ll find yourself perfectly positioned. The combination of genuinely comfortable accommodations, thoughtful service, and that rare quality of making you feel like a regular even on your first visit — that’s what keeps drawing people back to Le Méridien Frankfurt.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Frankfurt at least two months ahead for major events like the Frankfurt Book Fair, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near business centers.

Reviews of Le Méridien Frankfurt

Hospitality, check inn process, room and facilities, breakfast !
What could be improved: Bit of construction activitiesReg from Australia – 2 January 2025 (8/10)
Staff and location.

What could be improved: The house keeper open my room door without checking it. I was shocked.
Anne from United Kingdom – 20 September 2024 (8/10)
Very nice, spacious and modern, comfortable room on 8th floor, very nice bathroom, excellent breakfast with amazing choice in the buffet, location very convenient – close to the station and quite close to the centre.
What could be improved: Unlike Le Méridien in Vienna, there was no coffee machine and, although a kettle was provided in my room, there were no cups or tea bags. When I asked about this at reception, I was told they no longer did this. He showed me where I could get cups and tea bags from a place in reception. I don't understand this. Why provide a kettle then make you go down to reception to get cups etc? I found the entrance lobby rather gloomy. Staff were fairly friendly and helpful but not as much as in Vienna.Janak from India – 8 September 2024 (8/10)

The location was excellent – short walk to New Old Town and also close to the river promenade. Perfect for our needs.
What could be improved: .St from Canada – 23 August 2024 (9/10)
Beautiful room and great breakfast selection. Close to the train station and airport.
What could be improved: Really sketchy area across from the train station. I wouldn't walk by myself at night.
The breakfast was very expensive and I don't eat that much. Would be better if there was a cold breakfast selection for a reduced price.Roger from United Kingdom – 19 August 2024 (8/10)
Had a problem with the AC but they quickly switched me to another room. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Ozzy_wilko from Australia – 19 August 2024 (9/10)
The hotel was close to the Central Train Station, with a short walk to the historical centre of town. The hotel was modern and clean, with excellent amenities. The bar was lovely, with an abundant drinks menu. We were offered champagne as we checked in and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the pillow was perfect. We absolutely would stay here again.
What could be improved: The lighting in the rooms is a little dark (mood lighting).Paul from Australia – 31 July 2024 (9/10)
Very convenient location, close to main train station.
Everything was super clean and comfortable.
Excellent breakfast.
What could be improved: No complaints.
