Brera Serviced Apartments Frankfurt Oper Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Brera Serviced Apartments Frankfurt Oper, you immediately get that “this is going to work out well” feeling. The building sits right on Münchener Straße in the Bahnhofsviertel, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better planned if you tried. It’s one of those four-star properties that doesn’t try too hard to impress you with flashy lobbies — instead, it just quietly delivers on what matters most. The attention to detail starts the moment you arrive, setting the tone for a genuinely comfortable stay.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s what I love about staying here: you’re literally steps from the opera house (hence the name), but you’re also in Frankfurt‘s most connected neighborhood. The Bahnhofsviertel gets a bad rap sometimes, but this particular stretch is actually fantastic — especially for couples, who consistently rate the area highly. You can walk to the main train station in about five minutes, which means day trips to other German cities are ridiculously easy. Plus, there’s this great mix of international restaurant and local spots that you stumble upon just wandering around. The neighborhood truly offers something for everyone, whether you’re seeking cultural experiences or casual dining.

The Apartment Experience

What sets this place apart is that you’re getting an actual apartment, not just a hotel room. Each unit comes with a proper kitchen setup — and I mean a real one where you can actually cook, not just heat up leftovers. The space feels lived-in rather than sterile, which is refreshing after staying in cookie-cutter hotels. You know what’s nice? Having somewhere to spread out your stuff and not feel like you’re camping in a tiny box. The thoughtful layout makes extended stays feel natural and comfortable.

Practical Comforts

The apartments are well-thought-out in ways that matter when you’re staying more than a night or two. There’s decent parking available, which anyone who’s tried to navigate Frankfurt by car will appreciate. The building itself is quiet — you’re not dealing with slamming doors and hallway conversations at all hours. I actually slept better here than I expected, considering you’re right in the heart of the city. These practical touches make all the difference for travelers seeking genuine rest and relaxation.

Why Guests Love It

People keep coming back here because it strikes that perfect balance between independence and service. You get the freedom of having your own space, but there’s still someone to call if something goes wrong. The location score speaks for itself — an 8.1 is genuinely impressive for Frankfurt, where good locations usually come with serious trade-offs. Couples especially seem to get it right when they choose this place, probably because you can have romantic dinners at the opera and then come home to your own little Frankfurt hideaway rather than a cramped hotel room. This property truly understands what modern travelers need.

Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Frankfurt through trusted local agencies that provide insider knowledge about the best neighborhoods for experiencing the city’s unique blend of tradition and modernity.

Reviews of Brera Serviced Apartments Frankfurt Oper

  • Superb – Alice from Romania – 19 July 2025 (9/10)

The apartment was clean and comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen. The personnel was helpful.

What could be improved: Even if it is located close to the old center and the office buildings, the apartment is in an area that does not inspire you to do nighty walks.

  • Very good – Geoff from United Kingdom – 3 June 2025 (8/10)

Good location and easy check in

  • Very good – Stephen from United Kingdom – 28 May 2025 (8/10)

    Location

What could be improved: Sign to show there’s a lift
Checking in awkward when tired and not tech savvy
No instructions to use TV, microwave, hob
Shower gel bottle fine for one, but there was 2 of us

  • Great – Arbab from Pakistan – 19 January 2025 (9/10)

    Clean, central, convenient

What could be improved: There was no person to talk to for help regarding replacement towels, soap etc. I accidently found the cleaning lady cleaning an empty room and got a soap from her. Also checked out a day earlier. Had no idea how to do it. Because there was no one to ask.

  • Great apartment for a short stay! – Robin from Netherlands – 15 January 2025 (9/10)

The apartment was clean, nicely decorated and large enough for me.
    Easy check-in procedure.

What could be improved: The was a tram stop in front of the apartment which led to much noise.

  • Superb – Rita from Portugal – 5 January 2025 (9/10)

What could be improved: I rent 2 apartments. They were in 2 diferent floors.

  • A good stay in the city center. French bed not a sleep for two. – Henrik from Germany – 28 November 2024 (7/10)

Its central location is convenient. I used parking Garage Am Theater Level U2 for electric charging. Approximately 5 minutes walk.

What could be improved: The walls had stains and scratches due to the small space they are easily exposed to scratches and stains. The noise level of the commercial trash usage outside. Although my room was to the inside and not road side, it isn’t a quiet place. Neighbors move can also be heard but not on an uncomfortable level.

  • Very modern clean apartment – K from Australia – 16 October 2024 (9/10)

Very modern apartment & bathroom with no view to speak of. The kitchenette, although very small was well equipped with quality appliances. Need some instructions in english for the cooktop. Only around 1km to the main train station.

  • Overall good stay. Centrally located. if you need a places to stay close Frankurt's main attractions, this is a good – Romar from Philippines – 31 August 2024 (7/10)

The place looked bigger in the pictures. Very good location as it was in the Center of Frankfurt. Very accessible to Public Transportable and few blocks away from the Central Station. Very close to Main River.

What could be improved: somewhat small

  • very pleasant – Christina from Greece – 29 July 2024 (8/10)

safety, cleanliness, near the center, cosy room

What could be improved: not located in the best area, housekeeping never came upon very simple request , window lacking any view
