The Frankfurt Overview
First Impressions
Walking into The Frankfurt right across from the main train station, you immediately get that this is a four-star hotel that knows what business travelers need. The lobby has this understated elegance — not flashy, but definitely polished. What struck me most was how quiet it felt despite being literally steps from one of Germany’s busiest transport hubs. The staff greeted me in perfect English (and German, obviously), and check-in was refreshingly quick.
Location That Actually Works
Honestly, I was skeptical about staying in Bahnhofsviertel at first — the area around train stations can be sketchy. But this spot in Frankfurt is different. You’re right in the thick of things without the chaos. I could walk to the financial district in about ten minutes, and getting to the airport was ridiculously easy with the S-Bahn connection right there. The neighborhood has some excellent Turkish and Italian places if you venture out, though I noticed plenty of couples seemed to love just staying close to the hotel area for evening strolls.
The Room Experience
My room was on the sixth floor facing away from the station — smart design choice because you barely hear any train noise. The space felt modern but not cold, with this nice mix of dark wood and clean lines. The bed was actually comfortable (you know how hit-or-miss hotel beds can be), and the bathroom had one of those rainfall showers that I always appreciate after a long travel day. What I really liked was the work desk setup — clearly designed by someone who understands that people actually need to get things done in hotel rooms.
Breakfast and Practical Perks
The breakfast buffet surprised me in the best way. I mean, it’s not going to win any awards, but they had proper German breads, decent coffee, and even some lighter options that didn’t make me feel sluggish all morning. The restaurant area gets good natural light, which makes starting the day feel less institutional. There’s also parking available right at the hotel — and if you’ve ever tried to park in central Frankfurt, you’ll know that’s worth its weight in gold.
Why Guests Love It
What keeps people coming back here (and I noticed quite a few repeat guests during my stay) is that The Frankfurt just works without any drama. It’s not trying to be the most Instagram-worthy place in the city, but everything functions exactly as it should. The location score of 8.7 makes total sense when you’re actually staying here — you realize you can reach pretty much anywhere in Frankfurt easily, whether that’s the Römerberg old town, the shopping areas, or business districts. For couples especially, there’s something appealing about having this reliable base while still being in the heart of everything that makes Frankfurt interesting.
Exploring Frankfurt offers visitors an unforgettable journey through Germany’s financial heart, from its towering skyscrapers to its charming old town and world-renowned cultural scene.

I really liked location, since it is near the station and I was quite tired after some hours travelling. I also liked the attitude at the reception, but most of all – I liked coziness of the room. Really cool – different lightening, big bathroom and in the morning – appropriate breakfest

Walking distance from the train station. Close restaurants for easy access when arriving and catching early trains. Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast had a great selection. Staff on location were friendly!
What could be improved: Bit nosy from the trains. The pillows on the bed were flat. Needed 2 pillows per person. Requesting a corrected invoice took 3 days to get.Mazlan from Malaysia – 20 April 2024 (8/10)
First and foremost, the room was amazing and very spacious, the hospitality of the receptionist (Name: Anika) was great, friendly and very professional. The location was also good where it is very near the Frankfurt Main Railway. Will definitely considered coming again for another trip.
