This four-star property sits right in the heart of Frankfurt’s business district on Lyoner Straße, where glass towers and corporate headquarters dominate the skyline. The lobby feels polished without being stuffy, and honestly, the staff here seems genuinely happy to see you. There’s something refreshing about a hotel that doesn’t try to be trendy but just focuses on doing everything really well.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s what I love about Niederrad — you’re technically outside the city center, but the S-Bahn connections are fantastic. The Niederrad station is just a short walk away, and you can be in Frankfurt’s main areas within 15 minutes. Couples seem to particularly appreciate this setup (they rate the location 8.1), probably because you get that quieter, residential feel while still having easy access to everything. The airport is super close too, which makes this place perfect if you’re dealing with early flights or just want to avoid the chaos of staying right downtown.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from NH — clean lines, comfortable bed, and everything just works. The windows are properly soundproofed, which matters more than you’d think given the business district location. What impressed me most was the attention to detail — good lighting for actually getting work done, plenty of outlets where you need them, and a bathroom that feels spacious even in the standard rooms. It’s not flashy, but after a long day of meetings or sightseeing, you’ll appreciate how thoughtfully everything is laid out.

Breakfast & Dining

The breakfast here is honestly one of the better hotel spreads I’ve encountered in Frankfurt. They’ve got the usual continental options covered, but what sets it apart is the variety — vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, even American-style items if you’re craving something familiar. The buffet setup flows well, so you’re not fighting crowds even during peak morning hours. I noticed quite a few repeat guests during my stay, and after experiencing the consistent quality of the restaurant service, I can see why people keep coming back.

  Have stayed in this hotel before and I knew that it would be good. It's fairly modern, it's clean, comfortable and convenient with good ambience. The restaurant staff are just great and very accommodating and the food is well done although the menu is not spectacular. WIFI service was great.
  
  What could be improved: The hotel needs to upgrade provisions for all the devices that travellers take with them these days. My wife and I travel with a total of 6 devices (cell phones, tablets, speakers……) that need USB ports for over-night charging plus we have laptop PC's. While our laptops can be plugged into standard electrical receptacles for re-charging there aren't any USB ports in the rooms for the other devices and it was a real challenge to get all devices and device chargers plugged in for re-charging and meant we had to swap devices in and out for charging. There is an Ethernet (pretty certain) connection but I have no idea what network (usually a Local Area Network) that would be used for. This is probably an out-dated technology provision. WIFI service was good however.
