Living Hotel Frankfurt Overview

First Impressions

Walking into Living Hotel Frankfurt, you immediately notice this isn’t your typical business hotel. The lobby has this clean, modern vibe that feels more like a stylish apartment building than a traditional hotel — which actually makes sense once you see the rooms. It’s a four-star property that clearly knows its audience, and honestly, the staff seems genuinely happy to be there, which always sets a good tone. The attention to detail in every corner reflects a commitment to guest satisfaction that goes beyond standard hospitality.

The Sachsenhausen Advantage

Here’s what I love about the location — you’re in Sachsenhausen, which means you get that authentic Frankfurt neighborhood feel without being stuck in the sterile banking district. The area has character, you know? There are actual locals around, proper German pubs within walking distance, and you can easily hop across the river to the main city center. Couples seem to really get this setup — there’s something nice about staying somewhere that feels residential but still puts you close to everything that matters. The neighborhood offers a perfect balance of tranquility and accessibility.

The Room Experience

The room setup here is honestly pretty clever. These aren’t just standard hotel rooms — they’re more like mini-apartments with proper living spaces and well-thought-out layouts. The beds are genuinely comfortable (and I’m usually pretty picky about that), which explains why people keep coming back. You get a sense that someone actually thought about how real people use hotel rooms, not just how they look in photos. The kitchenette is functional too, which is handy if you want to grab groceries and have a quiet evening in. Every element has been designed with the modern traveler in mind.

Morning Routine

Breakfast here covers all the bases — continental spread, vegetarian options, vegan choices if that’s your thing. It’s buffet-style, so you can take your time and actually wake up properly before diving into your day. I appreciate that they don’t rush you through it, and there’s usually a good mix of business travelers and tourists, so the atmosphere stays relaxed. The restaurant area has decent natural light, which makes morning coffee feel less institutional. The quality of ingredients and variety ensure everyone finds something they enjoy.

Why Guests Love It

What really strikes me is how many people come back here — that says something about a place, doesn’t it? The combination of location, comfort, and that apartment-style setup seems to hit the right notes for travelers who want something more than just a place to sleep. Parking is available on-site, which anyone who’s driven in Frankfurt will tell you is worth its weight in gold. It’s the kind of hotel where you can settle in for a few days and actually feel at home, rather than just passing through. The overall experience creates lasting memories for guests.

Reviews of Living Hotel Frankfurt

  • Mak from Greece – 10 February 2025 (9/10)

    Very good breakfast..

What could be improved: Far away from Central

  • Subharanjan from India – 9 January 2025 (9/10)

Really didn't expect such nice facilities in this price. Great location, just a km away from Frankfurt South railway station and very close to the hotel there is a busstop in case someone needs. Very modern room and lights, comfy bed, spacious bathroom. Great stay of one night for me, but I won't mind to go back again.

What could be improved: Nothing to dislike.

  • Peter from Japan – 3 January 2025 (9/10)

We stayed for nine days and enjoyed everything. The location, the apartment, the supermarket and bakery/cafe downstairs, WeWash and parking in the building with electric charging stations. Staff were friendly, the apartment is nicely designed and furnished.

  • Oliver from United Kingdom – 2 January 2025 (9/10)

The room was very spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, I did not have enough time to try the breakfast. The supermarket tegut is right next to / adjacent to the hotel which is absolutely great. The neighbourhood is quiet and very nice.

What could be improved: No complaints.
