That’s the sweet spot, honestly — close enough to everything but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the chaos. The U-Bahn connections from here are solid too, though I found myself walking most places because the neighborhood is just pleasant to wander through.

One thing that really stood out was how the staff seemed to actually know the area. When I asked about dinner recommendations, they didn’t just hand me a generic list — they asked what I was in the mood for and pointed me toward this little Italian place around the corner that I never would have found otherwise. That kind of local knowledge makes a difference when you’re trying to experience a city beyond the tourist highlights.

The parking situation deserves a mention because, well, this is Frankfurt and parking can be a nightmare. Having a secure spot takes one major stress off your plate, especially if you’re planning day trips to the Rhine Valley or just want the freedom to explore beyond the city limits. I noticed quite a few guests seemed to be using this place as a base for longer stays, which makes sense given how the apartments are set up.

What I appreciated most was the balance they’ve struck — it’s polished and well-maintained without feeling sterile or overly corporate. You get the amenities and reliability you want from a four-star place, but there’s still some personality here. The common areas feel lived-in rather than staged, and there’s this sense that people actually enjoy staying here rather than just tolerating it.

Nordend has this wonderful mix of young professionals, families, and longtime residents, and staying at Homaris puts you right in the middle of that authentic Frankfurt life. You’ll find yourself shopping at the same bakery as your neighbors and discovering that the city has layers beyond the banking towers and tourist sites. It’s the kind of place where you start planning your next visit before you’ve even checked out.

  — I was disturbed three times under different circumstances (like taking water probes and other things). While it’s not completely property’s fault, two days at row I still couldn’t get a normal sleep. Once my door was opened even without warning, which surprised me a lot.

  Einfacher online check in von unterwegs, Gratis Parkplätze , Flexibler Zugang via Pincode, super hilfreicher und schnell reagierender Kundenservice (ich habe die Chat Funktion genutzt). Das Apartment ist neu und hat alles was man braucht um sich wohlfühlen zu können. Alles war sehr sauber.

  What could be improved: Wir haben ein Apartment mit zwei Zimmern und zwei Betten gebucht, bekommen haben wir jedoch nur einen Raum mit einem Bett. Für die erste Nacht wurde uns weder ein alternatives Zimmer noch eine Entschädigung angeboten — wir mussten uns irgendwie arrangieren. Erst für die zweite Nacht erhielten wir ein größeres Zimmer, diesmal mit zwei Betten, allerdings fehlte auf einem Bett das Bettlaken.
  
  Trotz mehrmaliger Anrufe beim Kundenservice wurde uns kein weiteres Laken gebracht. Stattdessen bekamen wir die Antwort, dass wir das größere Zimmer „nur aus Kulanz“ erhalten hätten und uns damit zufriedengeben müssten.
  
  Insgesamt hing ich während unseres Aufenthalts mindestens fünfmal in der Hotline, um grundlegende Dinge zu klären, die eigentlich selbstverständlich sein sollten. Absolut inakzeptabler Service.
