Frankfurt Marriott Hotel Overview
First Impressions
Walking into the Frankfurt Marriott Hotel, you immediately sense this is a five-star property that takes itself seriously — but in the best way possible. The lobby has that polished luxury feel without being stuffy, and honestly, the staff seems genuinely happy to see you. I mean, you can tell when hotel employees are just going through the motions, but here they actually remember your name after checking in. The attention to detail starts from the moment you arrive, setting the tone for your entire stay.
Prime Westend Location
The location in Frankfurt‘s Westend district is honestly brilliant — you’re close enough to the financial district that business travelers love it, but far enough from the tourist crowds that it feels like you’ve discovered something special. Couples particularly seem to get this (they rate the location 8.9, which makes total sense). You can walk to the Palmengarten in about ten minutes, and there’s this great little bakery around the corner that locals actually use. The U-Bahn connection is right there, so getting to the airport or city center is ridiculously easy. This neighborhood offers the perfect blend of accessibility and authentic local character.
The Room Experience
You know what really surprised me? The beds are genuinely exceptional — and I’m someone who’s pretty picky about sleep quality when traveling. The room itself has that modern luxury aesthetic with warm touches that keep it from feeling cold. The bathrooms are spacious (always a win), and the soundproofing is excellent, which matters when you’re in a busy city like this. There’s also proper parking available, which anyone who’s tried to navigate Frankfurt by car will appreciate. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered for guest comfort.
Dining and Amenities
The breakfast setup is actually quite impressive — they do continental, vegetarian, and buffet options, so whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee or settling in for a proper meal, you’re covered. The restaurant has this sophisticated but approachable vibe, and the spa facilities are well-maintained without being over-the-top. What I really noticed is how many repeat guests there are — you’ll overhear conversations between staff and returning visitors, which tells you something about the consistency here. The culinary offerings and wellness facilities reflect the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction.
Why Guests Love It
This place works because it strikes that perfect balance between luxury and livability. It’s polished enough for important business meetings or romantic getaways, but comfortable enough that you’d actually want to spend time in your room or the common areas. The Westend location gives you that authentic Frankfurt experience while still having all the five-star amenities you’d expect from Marriott. Plus, there’s something to be said for a hotel where people keep coming back — it usually means they’re doing the little things right, consistently. The Frankfurt Marriott represents the gold standard for hospitality in the region.
Frankfurt’s hotels showcase the perfect blend of German efficiency and modern comfort, with many featuring business concierge services and traditional Hessian hospitality.

My experience with Marriotts is always great! I love being able to stay at them, especially for work related trips. I do wish I could get my rewards on the Marriott site though.

Summer is the off-season in Frankfurt. So, I was able to use it much cheaper than when there was an exhibition. The city view from the 44th floor was very nice. And the M-Lounge provided to guests was very useful. Light food was served starting at 5pm and it was very good. Alcohol was also very good, including beer, wine, champagne and many other drinks, including coffee. It was very close to the city center so it was cheaper to take an Uber. The bedding in the room was clean and the room service was good.
There is a natural history museum (the largest in Europe) within walking distance to the north of the hotel, and a nice botanical garden a little further away. I had fun traveling
What could be improved: The parking lot under the hotel is very expensive at 43 euros per day, and with the guidance of the hotel staff, I parked on the street behind the hotel for 4 days and 3 nights. I made a reservation to receive breakfast, but they said it was breakfast in the M-Lounge, so I was charged a separate breakfast fee, so I requested correction for this, and it was the hotel's fault for failing to notify me in advance.Aliyi from Sweden – 20 July 2024 (9/10)
I really likes honey presented at breakfast
What could be improved: I like the cleaners and all service of your hotelJonathan from United Kingdom – 22 June 2024 (9/10)
Very comfortable bed and the whole hotel was very clean. We were only there for 1 night and hardly in the hotel so hard to comment. Very friendly and helpful staff.
