Frankfurt Bed & Breakfast Overview
First Impressions
When I first pulled up to Frankfurt Bed & Breakfast, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from a three-star place tucked away in Berkersheim. But you know what? Sometimes the best discoveries are the ones that surprise you. This family-run B&B sits on a quiet residential street that feels worlds away from the hustle of central Frankfurt, yet you’re still technically within the city limits. The building itself has that understated German charm — nothing flashy, but everything feels purposeful and well-maintained.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Here’s what I really appreciated about staying in Berkersheim — it’s like getting a peek into how locals actually live. You’re surrounded by tree-lined streets and traditional German houses, but the U-Bahn connections mean you can still reach Frankfurt’s financial district in about 20 minutes. I mean, couples consistently rate this location a 9.7, and after spending time here, I get why. There’s something refreshing about coming back to a peaceful residential area after a day of city exploration. Plus, you’ve got parking included, which honestly saves you a fortune if you’re driving in Frankfurt.
The Room Experience
My room was exactly what you’d want from a well-run B&B — clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. The owners clearly understand that travelers need practical touches like good lighting for reading and enough surface space for your belongings. The beds are genuinely comfortable (not just “adequate”), and the whole place has this quiet efficiency that lets you actually rest. What struck me most was how everything felt intentional rather than just thrown together — from the window placement that brings in natural light to the simple but effective storage solutions.
Breakfast Worth Waking Up For
The continental breakfast here actually lives up to its reputation, which isn’t always a given at smaller properties. They offer both traditional and vegetarian options, and the quality is consistently good — fresh bread, local ingredients, and coffee that doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting around for hours. The breakfast room overlooks the garden area, so you’re starting your day with a view of greenery rather than concrete. It’s one of those small details that makes the whole experience feel more personal and less institutional.
Why Guests Love It
With a 9.4 rating, this place clearly does something right, and I think it comes down to exceeding expectations rather than promising the world. The owners seem to understand their strengths — location, value, and genuine hospitality — and they deliver on all three consistently. You’re not getting premium amenities or designer furnishings, but you are getting a clean, comfortable base in a great neighborhood with hosts who actually care about your experience. For couples especially, there’s something appealing about having a quiet retreat that’s still connected to everything Frankfurt offers.

Liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr persönlich, aber nicht aufdringlich. Toller Gastgeber. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und gemütlich.

Everything was just perfect. The host was really kind and helpful. Facilities are modern, clean, comfortable and there are so many little details that made our stay even better. Breakfast was delicious. I would definetely stay here again.
What could be improved: Bed & breakfast is a bit out of the city center, but there is a bus station right in front of the house and two train stations in a walking distance. Nevertheless, that wasn't an issue for us – buses and trains are very frequent.Matthieu from France – 15 July 2023 (10/10)
Great communication with Stefan
Lots of little touches
Clean, calm and comfortable place
Close to the bus and metro (less than 30 minutes to join the train station)
The balcony !!
What could be improved: Everything was perfect 🙂Taylor from Australia – 18 June 2023 (10/10)
It was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Beautiful flowers everywhere. the neighbourhood is very picturesque. Stefan was very hospitable and very friendly. he gave us great information on how to get to and from Frankfurt city. Stefan also provided us with the most delicious German breakfast to fuel our day.
What could be improved: The property is a little away from town, however once you figure out the busses and trains it’s not a bother.Laura from Colombia – 13 June 2023 (10/10)
The place is so pretty! Lovely decoration! And you can access by driving or using public transportation. The host was absolutely outstanding and kind, his attention excepcional and his delivered breakfast delicious! He was always there to help me with tips. I can't recommend this place enough! 😊✨

Everything was immaculate, so clean, and quiet, with great views, and the breakfast was so tasty and fresh. The owner is so sweet and welcoming, he even suggested giving me a ride from the train station because it was raining. If I'll come back to Frankfurt I know where I'll stay.

You can not describe with words the high level of service provided by this unbelievable kind person. He even drove me to the train station and back so that I wouldn’t have to walk the 1200m, which I only did once in about 12-13 minutes. Cleanliness… well when you see the owner opening the front door and welcoming you inside the property by wearing only socks, you get a feeling of what to expect. But super clean is again too poor to describe what you will meet. Breakfast like that of a 5-Star Hotel, or even better!!! Super quiet, excellent mattress, top shower and bathroom overall. Perfect view outside to the park and the woods. Only problem, this guy is almost always fully booked. So if there is any room free go ahead and book it now!!!

What could be improved: belling dogs in the near of the house, space in the room was not big enough, breakfast had a menu but staff didn’t ask what I what for breakfast.
Marta from Germany – 29 June 2022 (10/10)
I was very happy with my stay. The room was clean, comfy and the owner very friendly. They had all I needed for an enjoyable stay and also the price was great. There even is a balcony that can be used.
What could be improved: Honestly there’s nothing to improve…if i had to criticize something the only thing would be that there is some distance to Frankfurts center( this also is a pro since the location feels safe -even when going out in the dark:)However it’s very easy and uncomplicated to get around and reach everything -even without a car- since there’s a bus station just in front of the building that has a great connection into the city and region.
