Aparthotel Adagio Frankfurt City Messe Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Aparthotel Adagio Frankfurt City Messe, you immediately get that “this is going to work out well” feeling. It’s one of those places that strikes the perfect balance — professional enough for business travelers but relaxed enough that you don’t feel like you’re staying in a corporate box. The lobby has this clean, modern vibe without being sterile, and honestly, the staff seems genuinely happy to see you rather than just going through the motions.
Location That Actually Matters
Here’s what I love about the Westend location — you’re close enough to the Messe (trade fair grounds) that you can practically roll out of bed for early meetings, but you’re not stuck in some soulless business district. Frankfurt can feel pretty corporate, but this area has actual character. There are proper restaurant within walking distance, not just hotel dining rooms and chain places. The couples who stay here aren’t wrong to rate the location so highly — it’s got that sweet spot where you can explore the city without feeling like you’re camping out in the suburbs.
The Apartment Setup
What sets this four-star place apart is the apartment style setup. Each unit comes with a proper kitchenette, which sounds small but makes a huge difference when you’re staying more than a night or two. I mean, being able to grab groceries and make coffee exactly how you like it? That’s the kind of thing that turns a good trip into a great one. The room layouts are smart too — they’ve managed to fit everything you need without making it feel cramped, which is honestly impressive given Frankfurt’s real estate prices.
Breakfast and Practical Stuff
The breakfast situation here is actually worth getting up for, which I can’t say about every hotel. They’ve got the continental basics covered, but what impressed me was how well they handle dietary restrictions — proper vegan and vegetarian options that don’t feel like afterthoughts. The buffet setup flows well, so you’re not standing around waiting for someone to move. And you know what? Having parking available on-site in Frankfurt is basically a minor miracle — most places in the city center make you hunt for spots or pay through the nose at public garages.
Why Guests Love It
There’s something to be said for a place that gets repeat customers, and this hotel clearly has that figured out. It’s not trying to be the flashiest option in town, but it delivers on the things that actually matter when you’re traveling. The location score speaks for itself — when you can walk to the Messe for work and still feel like you’re staying somewhere with personality, that’s a win. Whether you’re here for business or exploring Frankfurt with someone special, this place just works without any drama or unpleasant surprises.

Reviews of Aparthotel Adagio Frankfurt City Messe
Guoke from United States – 3 April 2025 (9/10)
the bed is very comfortable
What could be improved: the breakfast is so lameTatiana from United Kingdom – 31 March 2025 (9/10)
Great location for Messe. Very well equipped kitchen, it had all the necessities. I did not hear my neighbours, so I guess it has a good sound insulation. Good security – you have to use your room key to use the elevator. Good breakfast. Likely will stay again.
What could be improved: Inability to control the room temperature. Apparently it is heating in the cold season and cooling in the hot season. I like sleeping in the cool room. Unfortunately, all I could do was to switch the heating off. Which did not do much to cool the room down. It is possible to open a window, but it is a very small opening which did not make an impact. Having a plastic undersheet did not help either.Alexander from Germany – 5 March 2025 (9/10)
Nice view, good bed, great location
What could be improved: There was a strange smell in my room, especially in the bathroom. However, it was gone by the evening, so I wouldn't say its smth serious.Liem from Indonesia – 26 February 2025 (9/10)
Big room
Ana from Romania – 20 February 2025 (9/10)
Everything. It was a great stay, great location – tram stop by the entrance of the hotel, 4 stops away from the Central Train Station, 2 stops away from the Ubahn, a short walk (5 minutes) to the Skyline Plaza. The room (apartment) was super comfortable, perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids, lots of storage space. Free water (still and sparkling), 1 bag of free coffee for the coffee machine in the room, great view, clean. Nice lobby and friendly staff. Great value for money.
What could be improved: The pillows – too softRasmus from Estonia – 13 February 2025 (7/10)
Good location, Breakfast was alright but on a very small area.
Aleksei from Israel – 22 January 2025 (9/10)
The hotel is located near the Messe station, ~1km from Hauptbahnhof (main Train station). You can enjoy a very nice view from the window
What could be improved: the parking is too expensive – 43 Euro per day. About other things it seems like I'm totally satisfied 🙂Kathleen from United States – 16 January 2025 (7/10)
Location to Messe , it was also very quiet.
What could be improved: No change of towels /sheets unless you paid extra. They only had one English TV station from France. They need to have more channels like CNN, BBC, Sky News in English .Wisam from Israel – 11 January 2025 (9/10)
Great choice and great place
Big apartments and great location. The breakfast is great and family friendly.
What could be improved: The towels and room cleaning is not free for less the. 8 days stay.Deborah from United States – 5 January 2025 (9/10)
Hotel is great, check in staff were super friendly and helpful, I am very happy with my stay. Location is excellent, literally across the st from 2 trams that take you to the main train station and you can also use the trams to move to the Ubahn as well
What could be improved: Nothing bad really, just have in mind cleaning is only every 8 nights. Other than that, plenty of room, plenty of towels and toilet paper
